How to register a MERCUSYS cloud account for my MERCUSYS wireless router to manage it remotely

This article mainly introduces two detailed methods to register a MERCUSYS cloud account to manage MERCUSYS devices remotely, including creating on MERCUSYS APP and web management page.

A MERCUSYS cloud account, which is also called a MERCUSYS ID, is used to bind and remotely manage MERCUSYS routers, halo mesh Wi-Fi, range extenders, and so on.

There are two ways to register a MERCUSYS cloud account: on the MERCUSYS APP or on the web management page.

Method 1: Register on the MERCUSYS APP

Please confirm your model is compatible with the MERCUSYS APP: https://www.mercusys.com/support/mercusys-app#compatible-products

Step 1: Download and install the MERCUSYS APP on your smartphone from APP Store or Google Play.

Step 2: Connect your smartphone to the Wi-Fi network of your MERCUSYS router, then run the MERCUSYS APP (make sure your smartphone can get internet). Choose “Sign Up” to create your MERCUSYS ID.

Step 3: Type your mailbox in the Email box as your cloud account and create your own password, then check Agree to MERCUSYS Privacy Policy & Terms of Use. Click Confirm.

Step 4: You will receive an email for verification. Check your mailbox, open the activation mail, and then tap Click to Finish Registration.

Step 5: After activation, please tap Login to log in with your registered MERCUSYS ID and password.

Step 6: Go to More > Managers

Display Managers position in the app.

Step 7: Tap Bind to combine your MERCUSYS router and MERCUSYS cloud account together. After that, you will find your MERCUSYS router shown as a cloud device on the Device page, which means that you can enjoy the cloud functions of your MERCUSYS router on the MERCUSYS APP.

Method 2: register on the web management page

Here takes MR90X V1 as an example:

Step 1: Connect your device to MR90X wired or wirelessly and make sure your device can get internet. Then, open a web browser, type http://mwlogin.net in the address bar, and log in to the router's management page by typing the login password.

Input MERCUSYS router’s Local Password.

Step 2: Go to Advanced, choose MERCUSYS ID, and click Sign Up to register.

Step 3: Type your mailbox in the Email box as your cloud account and create your own password, then check Agree to MERCUSYS Privacy Policy & Terms of Use. After that, just click Register, and you will receive an email with verification.

An activation email had been sent to the email for registration.

Step 4: Check your mailbox and open the activation mail, then tap Click to Finish Registration.

Step 5: Now, your cloud account has been successfully registered. Just go back to the router management page and log in with your MERCUSYS ID and password to enjoy the cloud services.

Note

The MERCUSYS ID will be automatically bound to your router after you log in.
