Accessibility support for MERCUSYS App

The MERCUSYS App includes accessibility features like increasing page contrast, switching to landscape mode, and enlarging font size. Try them and make it much easier to set up your device and adjust settings.

 

For iOS

Functions with Accessibility:

  • Font Size
  • Increase Contrast
  • Screen Orientation

Font Size

Follow System (Default): Adjusts according to the system font size. (Maps system sizes from 1-3x to app sizes of 1-2x.)

Custom: Customize the font size specifically for this app. There are seven sizes available. Drag the slider to adjust the font size.

Path: Accessibility > Font Size

Note:

1. To enable Magnifier, you can follow the guidance provided to enable it and check the examples of the magnified content.

2. If the current system font is not scaled up to the top five levels, guidance instructions will appear. Otherwise, the instructions will be hidden.

Increase Contrast

Follow System (Default): The app will display content effect according to the system's contrast settings. If Increase Contrast is enabled on the system, the app will show in high contrast mode. If it is disabled, the app will display in general mode.

Enabled: The app will display content in high contrast.

Disabled: The app will display in general contrast.

Path: Accessibility > Increase Contrast

Screen Orientation (*Only available on iPad.)

Default: Display in Portrait mode.

Landscape: Switch to landscape mode.

Path: Accessibility > Screen Orientation

How to Check MERCUSYS App Accessibility for iOS?

1. After initially installing and launching the MERCUSYS app, you can find the Accessibility button on the upper-right corner of the page.

2. Login page: Tap the Accessibility button on the upper-right corner then Accessibility.

3. Home Page: Tap the button on the left corner to find the side bar. Tap About > Accessibility.

 

For Android

Functions with Accessibility:

  • Font Size
  • Increase Contrast
  • Screen Orientation

Font Size

Follow System (Default): Adjusts according to the system font size.

Custom: In custom mode, 80%, 100% (default), 120%, 140%, 160%, 180%, and 200% font sizes are available. This only applies to the app. Drag the slider to adjust the text size for clearer and more readable content.

Path: Accessibility > Font Size

Note:

To enable Magnifier, you can follow the guidance provided to enable it and check the examples of the magnified content. In custom mode, adjust to different font sizes and they will change accordingly.

Increase Contrast

Follow System: The app will display content effect according to the system's contrast settings. If Increase Contrast is enabled on the system, the app will show in high contrast mode. If it is disabled, the app will display in general mode.

Enabled: The app will display content in high contrast without loading.

Disabled (Default): The app will display in general contrast.

Path: Accessibility > Increase Contrast

Screen Orientation

Default: Follow system settings by default.

How to Check MERCUSYS App Accessibility for Android?

1. After initially installing and launching the MERCUSYS app, you can find the Accessibility button on App Terms of Use page & MERCUSYS ID login page: Tap the Accessibility button on the upper-right corner then Accessibility.

2. Home Page: Tap the button on the left corner to find the side bar. Tap About > Accessibility.
